Community Assembly of West Yorkshire
Serving, supporting and protecting our local communities
About Us
The Community Assembly of West Yorkshire is located in an inland and upland county having eastward-draining valleys while taking in the moors of the Pennines. West Yorkshire came into existence as a metropolitan county in 1974 which saw it formed from a large part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. West Yorkshire includes the cities of Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.
Community Assemblies are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
