Serving, supporting and protecting our local communities
The Community Assembly of Three Valleys is located in an area of the Rivers Aire, Wharfe and Worth covering North Yorkshire to West Yorkshire. The Aire Valley starts near Skipton and encompasses Keighley, Bingley, the World Heritage village of Saltaire and Shipley.
The Wharfe Valley starts within the Yorkshire Dales, with an Upper Wharfe Valley from Grassington through to Addingham and a Lower Wharfe Valley thereon through Ilkley, Otley and finishing near Wetherby at the Vale of York.
The smaller of the valleys is the Worth Valley which flows through Bronte Country, from Stanbury, where Wuthering Heights is deemed to have been, through Haworth before joining the river Aire at Keighley.
Community Assemblies are made up of residents concerned about a lack of democratic process at a local and national level, dedicated to preserving and asserting our inalienable rights and obligations to ourselves, the Earth and future generations.
