Consultations & Treatment
An acupuncture treatment typically lasts from 45-60 mins, the first initial appointment will be 60-75 mins. The needles used are hair-thin sterile disposable needles that will be strategically placed at specific acupuncture points to help release the flow of Qi (energy) throughout your body, enabling your body to heal itself. Pain and disease occur when we have blocks in our meridian energy system preventing the free flow of energy or Qi.
The number of sessions you need is highly individual, however typically - for acute issues its normally 1-3 sessions, but chronic issues or illnesses typically need regular weekly/monthly sessions until symptoms improve.
